Our Warranty Policy
The specific coverage limits on a garage door warranty will vary greatly among different manufacturers, but all high-quality doors will come with some form of warranty protection. It’s always a good idea to know what kind of warranty you have on your garage door so that you are not unpleasantly surprised if you discover damage. All warranties are different, but you can expect some common, across-the-board coverage. What can you expect from the manufacturer?
Doorman Garage Doors will correct any occurrences of defective workmanship, with no fee charged to the customer, within one year of our installation of doors and/or openers. This warranty includes defects in labour only, as warranty for defects in products are covered by their manufacturer. However, any labour involved in the replacement of a defective product, within the manufacturer’s warranty period, will be carried out by Doorman Garage Doors free of charge, within one year of our installation.
Our warranty policy does not apply to defects caused by accidents unrelated to our installation such as misuse, natural disasters, abuse etc. Warranty also does not apply to any product which has been tampered with, adjusted, or repaired by anyone not representing Doorman Garage Doors.

This warranty includes defects in labour only, as warranty for defects in products are covered by their manufacturer. However, any labour involved in the replacement of a defective product, within the manufacturer’s warranty period, will be carried out by us, free of charge, within three months of our repairs.
